1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of zexlavi.sbs, the website of Sugarwren Candy Co. of 9301 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55420, USA. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site — no hard feelings.

2. What this website is for

This website introduces our candy and lets you send an order request. It does not sell anything: there is no basket, no checkout and no payment is taken here. Information on the site — flavour notes, process descriptions, journal articles — is provided for interest and is not advice of any kind.

3. Order requests are not orders

Submitting the form starts a conversation, not a contract. A sale exists only once we reply confirming availability, price and the arrangements, and you accept that reply. Until then, no candy is reserved and no price is fixed. Submitting a request does not commit you to buy and does not commit us to supply.

4. Availability, pricing and descriptions

Candy is made in small batches, so items are sometimes unavailable, and the list changes through the year. Prices are quoted in our reply and are valid for the period stated there. We describe candy by shape, colour and flavour impression; because everything is made by hand, small variations between pieces and between batches are normal and are not defects.

5. Allergens and food safety

We do not publish ingredient lists on this website. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, contact us before ordering and we will tell you what is in the batch you are asking about. Our kitchen is small and uses shared equipment, so we cannot promise an environment free from any particular allergen, and we will say so honestly rather than guess.

All of our products are hard candy. Hard candy is a choking hazard for young children. Nothing we sell is a medicine, supplement or dietary product, and no health, nutritional or medical benefit is claimed for any of it.

6. Pickup and shipping

Pickup is by appointment at our address during opening hours. Shipping, where we agree to it, is arranged and quoted separately. Risk in the goods passes to you on collection or on delivery to the carrier, whichever applies. Report damage or a wrong item within a few days of receipt so we can sort it out.

7. Payment

Payment is arranged when we confirm your order. No card details are collected or stored by this website.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading messages, to attempt to gain access to parts of the site or server you are not authorised to use, to scrape it at a volume that affects availability for others, or to submit automated or spam form entries. We may block access where we see that behaviour.

9. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, candy names and design of this site belong to Sugarwren Candy Co.. You are welcome to link to any page, quote short passages with credit, and share photographs of your own order. Please do not copy substantial parts of the site, or use our photographs or product names commercially, without asking first — we usually say yes to reasonable requests.

10. Links to other websites

We sometimes link to other sites, such as a map service. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

11. Accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate and current, including opening hours and availability. Errors happen in any small business. If we discover a significant error in something we have told you, we will contact you and correct it before proceeding. Nothing on this site is a promise about a future outcome, a certification or a health effect.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under Minnesota law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that state.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the business changes. The date at the top tells you when they were last revised; the version published here at the time of your visit is the one that applies.
